Protect The Lake Side Tourist Place

Kerala is one of the beautiful places in India with the attractive nature that brings a number of tourists every year. Anchuruli is the interesting place in Kerala which surrounds the Idukki reservoir about 40 Kms landscape. The number of tourists can be much more increased by providing the basic facilities by the government. The Kerala government has to increase their interest on anchuruli as there were no proper sanitation, transport facility and restaurant in anchuruli that makes the people to forget the beauty of anchuruli.

The anchuruli project mission

Seeing the horrible situation of this place, we formed a teame of more than 150 members to take care of the nature and the beauty of anchuruli. As I run a software firm, 15 members of my company also took part in our mission. Our team members are very much interested to contribute their money and valuable time for this mission with the intention of social work and not for the self profit. Our mission focuses on making anchuruli a most beautiful place in Kerala. We hope our mission will be more helpful to the society.

The first and foremost goal our mission is to make anchuruli reachable to the visitors. To achieve this goal, we need to construct the road for two kilometers that would cost $4500. By the proper road the people can drive comfortably to anchuruli. For constructing road we got nearly a quarter of $4500 which helps to start the mission by next month. The objectives of the mission also include cleaning the mess along the lakeside and planting of trees that would not cost much. Our team can’t maintain the plants and the mess as we are free only on Sundays, so we planned to hire the persons to maintain the place with neat and tidy. The installation of the boat club also increases the value of the anchuruli in which increased number of tourists will be attracted towards this place. The forest and the water department showed their support of our mission by approving to install the boat club in the lakeside of anchuruli.

The safety of the visitors is also important, so have ordered the warning sign boards and the barrier guards to set up in the lakeside which provides safety to the visitors. We also planned to construct the eco-friendly restaurant in the lakeside to provide the hygienic food facility to the visitors of anchuruli. To establish all facilities may exceed the cost $5000.

The challenges

The local people need to cooperate with our team so that the anti-socials can be restricted from ruining this place. Some of the residents set up a number of messes along the lakeside which are also must be maintained. Even though we are free only on Sundays, we are still eager to make anchuruli a more pleasant place ever for the tourist.

What we offer back ?

After renew of anchuruli will be opened to the public in which the visitors can enjoy the nature of anchuruli. The visitors will be charged some fare for boating trip and use of the restaurant in which the profit from the fare will be more useful for maintaining the natural beauty of anchuruli. There was a fees for time to visit this place. We are completely removing the fees and time .
