Team Stealth is a team of five, passionate, year 11 students from Aston University Engineering Academy. Aston University Engineering Academy is a university technical college which specialises in engineering and science. Stealth is a team participant in the “F1 in Schools” project, a competition based in the design and manufacture of a miniature version of a F1 car. Although the car is one of the main focuses, other aspects will also be taken into consideration, like the team’s presentation and image. These components are all evaluated in the competition day, by specialized judges in each area of evaluation. The winner of the project is selected through a point system, in which the team with the highest overall score wins. There are 3 stages in the competition: Regional Finals, where the three top teams of each region advance to the National Finals, in which the first three get the chance to represent one’s country in the world stage.
