Campaign Story
In 2018, Blue Springs Police Officer, endurance athlete and member of Project Remember, Keegan Hughes, will honor fallen first responders and raise money for Answering the Call by completing the following:
Project Remember – Missouri: March 23, 2018 through March 31, 2018, Hughes will run from St. Louis to Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City in full duty uniform. That’s 260 miles in 9 days!
Ironman Boulder: On June 10, 2018, Hughes will participate in the Ironman Boulder triathlon doing the run portion in full duty uniform. That’s a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run!
