Project Nate to MAWA Eastern Nationals

Hello, My name is Nate Silverthorn. I graduated last year from General Brown High School in Dexter, NY. I am a member of the National Honors Society. I am a 2x Academic All American.  I strive for perfection in the classroom as well as on the mat. I have the ambition and drive that it takes to win. I have just joined the ROTC program at my college and have plans to enter the United States Army as an officer when I finish my college education at East Stroudburg University.

It is in my pursuit for constant challenges that I have qualified for the Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association Eastern National tournament by wrestling my way to 1st place finishes in both the district and regional qualifying tournaments. This is one of the biggest opportunities I will have in the off season to compete, it is very important to me. Competing in the off-season is important to my progression in college wrestling as my ultimate goal is to qualify for the NCAA Division II national tournament. This also translates to academics, as the better I perform on the mat during the season, the better the chances are for my school to increase my wrestling scholarship.

I am in need of financial assistance by way of sponsors to make it to the national tournament as it is far from home and being a college student you know money is scarce. I would need to cover hotel, gas and meals, the total cost would be approximately $400.00.
