Project GENEROSITY for Carla’s Carcinoma

For the last decade Carla Laing has dedicated her time to teaching , mentoring and developing her non-profit outreach program. Her program aims at assisting underprivileged children with financial burdens and learning disabilities, she has helped children raise funds for their schooling needs and ongoing education. Carla has assisted these disadvantaged learners, children and adults, with the fundamental skills to become part of the working community and to provide for themselves and their loved ones. She has since studied her degree at UNISA in teaching special needs and foundation phase education, and is currently on her journey to becoming a recognized counselor and positive intelligence life coach.

For as long as I've known Carla Laing she has been a kind and selfless human. She has the most generous heart, always helping others in need. She is determined, courageous and fierce. She tackles any obstacles in her way and does it like a champion 🏆.

In April 2021, Carla was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, this is a form of skin cancer. She has two known tumors and they are larger than three centimeters each. She also suffers from Fibromyalgia which is an auto- immune disease. This disease attacks her immune system, leaving her body to weak to fight off bacterial and viral infections. This often leaves her feeling weak and prone to illnesses.Carla is in need of urgent surgery. If she fails to get the surgery she needs these tumors will likely grow and spread to her bones and vital organs. This could prove fatal if left untreated.
