Procare Adoption Awareness Run_OLD

With the looming changes to the Children's Act in South Africa, stating that no money may be paid towards adoption (including social workers, psychologists, NGO's, Adoption Agencies, etc.) hold potentially devastating effects on the adoption process and the already strained system.

With this in mind, we are running to create awareness and to raise funds in order to alleviate some of that strain and possibly give a child a chance to join a loving family.

IT ALL STARTS HERE!

Buy a T-Shirt and join the world wide run on 29 February 2020.

2020 also marks the 25^th birthday of PROCARE, one of South Africa’s most reputable Adoption Agencies who decided to join hands with concerned members of the public to promote this campaign in support of those who will be affected by it.

Any donations would be appreciated, but a donation of R250 buys you a T-Shirt for the run*.

Any donors wanting to contribute R5000 or more, can also have a custom message or logo printed on the T-shirt, along with the Procare logo** ***.

So how does it work?

Simple!

Step 1 - Join the Procare Charity Run club event on Strava for free.

Step 2 - Donate on this page and get your branded T-shirt.

Step 3 - Run with your branded T-shirts!

Step 'most important' - Post as many photos, comments, blogs on social media, to raise awareness about the event and the cause.

T-Shirts will be proudly distributed by The Courier Guy who has partnered with us to ensure reliable, on time delivery of each donors T-shirt.

Donations FAQ

Q: Who will the money go to?

A: Proceeds will be donated to Procare's adoption units, as well as associated organisations involved in the adoption processes of South Africa.

Q: How does the money get transferred?

A: Donations are made into a PayPal account from where the expenses are paid and funds are distributed.
