My Father has worked hard labor (masonry/stucco)since he was a teenager. We moved to Atlanta for work. (Pop worked on Ga Dome & Andre Rising house),he saved up money, purchased a detachable duplex in the westend area 4 minutes from downtown. The dream is to remodel them, make them energy efficient, updated and modern. Then rent them to college students and also make it air B n B. Pop has worked on them himself for Years after he got off work -using his own money. It's taken quite a few years to get 1 half of duplex ( 1bed 1 bath) up to par and now Pop's health isn't allowing him to do much labor anymore. I have rented the house from Pop and my sons and I live there, I help with the cost, repairs, and fixing up the house next door. Savings and money are exasperated and due to; poor health, stress, and the lack of funds, Pop had to move out his place and into the 1/2 remodeled house next door with No water, NO lights, Half of it NO walls. It's killing me that my Father is living this way with rats and squirrels when he deserves to relax and enjoy life. And so I HAVE to reach out for assistance and to complete Pop's dream. :::

Establish a business(possibly non profit) , finish remodeling the house and lease 4 bdrooms /3.5bth to college students, and the 2bd 1.5bth full basement to an Air BnB. We want to generate a steady income to build up the communities in run down areas near downtown- Creating comfortable, safe, energy efficient, updated, modern living spaces as well as establishing community gardens, parks, repairing run down homes, stores, sidewalks, etc.
