Campaign Story
Hello there wonderful human being. If you’re reading this, I would like to take the time to convince you to help by making a poor man’s dream become a reality. I am student at the University of Cape Town, and I am enjoying my programme. The thing is... getting a degree is something I am doing to make my parents and family happy, and be a role model to my community.
I have a deep passion for music, and growing up in an underprivileged family, I couldn’t afford to buy music making resources. Even when I found part time jobs during holidays, I would end up helping with mending patches at home.
The reason I started this funding campaign is to ask help from you, and anyone that’s wiling to do good and help a man live his dream of pursuing a music career. I want to make music that puts out a positive message to the people, and that will hopefully make a change to the their lives and minds. I want to focus on singing and producing my music independently. I already have a condenser microphone, a laptop and headphones to start with, but I still need more.
Anything you can give, I will accept with both arms. Please, help me spark change.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions. :
