My dad Steve Worrall-clare ex Rhodesian,BSAP member. “. 1965 ..signed up for my 3 in the B.S.A.P ....did selection course in the escarpment. Founder member of the Police Anti Terrorist Unit .. did Tracking Corse, special weapons and tactics. Actively engaged with patu until He left Rhodesia (1977). “ my dads word “Engaged with a number of fire fights, but was never a hero, but surely walked alongside a few! “ but to me he is a hero 💖He had to be taken into Westville hospital, to have part of his leg amputated due to a terrible infection ,is not on a medical aid and costs are already mounting, we need to pay the theatre fees and radiologists fees and anethatist before they will do the operation. The surgeon has agreed to allow payment after the operation.
Just to get him into the hospital he had to put a deposit of R30000 down this covers three days including one in high care he has also paid for the Lake smit account which was just over R15 000, have shown this as offline raised for transparency.The surgeons quote has come in at R121 000, estimate on radiologist and anethatist we looking at around R29 000, and then there will be theatre fees. All are being super helpful discounting wherever they are able. So I have amended the needed figure to the quotes received.

Update posted by Che Churchill at 04:29 pmsorry for not updating sooner thing have just been so busy. Dad is home we have a wound sister comming in three times a week to redress the leg. He has a long way to go has lost a lot of weight and sleeping a lot. But the infection is. . . . .
