National Artists Association of Dragsters & Funny Cars (NAADFC) was founded in 2012 by Custom Painter Don Kirby's daughter Cassie Kirby to build upon our unique heritage and enhance public awareness and the value of the arts involved with the racing industry.
We are an Association of Custom Paint, Pinstripe, Airbrush, Graphics, Lettering, Fiberglass body, Engine and Chassis designers behind your favorite race cars, past and present. We celebrate the Artists and their artistic expression and craftsmanship of the custom design in every aspect on every race car on every track wether original or replicated.
NAADFC's' work responds to the arts environment and cultural trends with regional perspectives and is dedicated to fostering, inspiring and promoting an appreciation of all aspects of the cultural arts in the racing community and most importantly, maintaining the traditions of our past linked with the opportunities of our future. We offer a portfolio of activities designed to address the issues important to our region and to link the nation and the world through the arts of racing.
Ms. Kirby is currently connecting with people and sharing information about this new organization. She is also looking for people to join the effort by taking offices/roles within the organization from President to volunteers.
It is Ms. Kirby's goal to bring recognition and appreciation to the artist BEHIND the car, and enhance their business and networking opportunities.
She recently stated... "The car may be fast, true, the driver may be talented and have skills, true....but when a car is speeding down the track, what do you see? THE ART!"
*Statement from Cassie Kirby
My Father is no longer here to see the strong woman I've grown into, nor for me to show him my appreciation for him, so... I am pleased to acknowledge & honor the work each and everyone of you have done "For the Love of it" and it is my pleasure to honor my father by honoring you!
