From Wilbur’s owner: Wilbur was given to me as a pup and he came from a very responsible breeder. All of the other dogs in the litter and the parents are healthy. Unfortunately Wilbur is an anomaly with all of his problems.
Since last summer Wilbur has been through brachycephalic surgery to improve his labored breathing and prevent the problems he had with aspiration of food. He also received a graft in his left eye to treat a deep corneal ulcer. Wilbur has finally been able to act like a normal dog thanks to the help he has received from some wonderful donors.
Unfortunately Wilbur is now having an issue with his right eye (see photos). It is red and swollen and appears to be infected. There may be an ulcer forming as well. Wilbur needs to see the eye specialist as soon as possible. Wilbur is also have major problems with allergies and his ears are inflamed and causing a lot of pain. He will also need to see a dermatology specialist for treatment.
Donations to this fundraiser will be used to pay for consultations, diagnostics and treatment of Wilbur’s eye and ears. Thank you!
