Hello and thank you for taking time out to read my story.
I desperately need help to save my leg.
In November 2017 I was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident where I was hit off my ZZR1100. My foot was ripped off and was only attached by the achilles tendan (calcaneal tendon).
I was admitted to Groote Schuur hospital in Cape Town, South Africa where they attached my foot and repaired my broken leg. The operation was unsuccessful and 2 years down the line I face amputation below the knee.
The only way I can save my leg is by getting a artificial ankle, otherwise I face amputation of my leg below the knee. This would be devastating to me as I need both legs to bring income into my household. I am a single father and just cannot lose work.
I simply cannot afford this and humbly request from anyone willing to help to please help me save my leg.
The operation including the artificial ankle will cost just under R240000 ($16500)
This is a impossible task for me given the situations here in South Africa and I do not know what else to do.
Please, from the bottom of my heart I plead with anyone reading this to please help me.

Just had a neck op and in a brace for 6-weeks feeling sorry for myself. Not after seeing this poor guys situation. I will heal, I hope he saves his foot.
