Please help parents pay back study loan for daughter killed by a lion

In 2018, Megan van der Zwan was tragically ripped away from her loving family. She was fatally mauled by a lion of the famed “Lion Whisperer” at the tender age of 23. Adored by many for her soft-spoken loving nature and caring personality, her family continue to pay for her tragic loss in a series of constant reminders.

It is wholly unnatural to bury your children. There is no way to prepare for it, no possible way to make peace with the void left behind by a child’s death. Since Megan’s sudden and tragic passing her family have battled to grieve and move on due to constant reminders - one being the extensive media coverage of the much-publicised incident and the second reminder is the student loan her family continues to pay each month for the degree she obtained at the University of Pretoria shortly before her passing.

Her family - still devastated by their loss, struggles to attend to Megan’s student loan. This is a heavy burden for the family - especially now that they have been handed over to debt-collectors during these testing economic times.

We’d like to show our support for Megan’s family by helping them raise the funds to settle what is left of her study loan and ease the burden of the many ways they continue to pay for their daughter's accident while allowing them to also maintain some of their financial dignity.
