Please help my German Shepherd Sargie

Sargie is my German Shepherd I personally rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia U.S.A.

He was slated to be killed ( euthanized) within a half hr and I made the call that spared his life. After many hiccups and costs I finally flew him home to me and he has lived here in Vancouver canada with me and my other rescued pets for 7 years. He is happy and still young and healthy in every way BUT I discovered a raised area on his back side/ thigh and immediately took him to my vet. It turns out its a mast cell tumour. It has taken since November to determine that with a multiple of tests and visits that have already cost be close to $5000. It has to be removed by a specialist as its behind a muscle. The good news is the vet said the Biopsy came back and it is a LOW GRADE TUMOUR and not aggressive and in tact so he feels confident it can be removed and that is that. The other organs have not been impacted no sign of cancerous cells anywhere and that is " promising". I have no children.. i devote my life to rescuing and helping animals and have always been the one giving donations and helping fundraise for other people since 2009 and now i find myself in need of help.

SARGIE is the light of my life and He needs my help. He goes everywhere with me.. his is my best friend and the best buddy of my other rescued Shepherd Bloom. We need your help please, The estimate for surgery is close to $5000 and given I have already spent close to that just to get HERE and know if he can even have surgery and YES he can and the prognosis as I mentioned is good as his overall health is very good so says the vet.

Please help us. He will be having surgery in February at CANWEST in Vancouver B.C. and with Covid and trying to make it through last year has been a bit tough so any donation is so very much appreciated. I need this boy in my life he is my protector and my rock and Love him so very much...
