Please help my father fight rectal cancer

This is my loving father, Cesar V. Salazar. He is 57 years old. I've been always praying for good health for my parents like everyone does. But as our family welcomes the year 2018, a sad news came to us.

During the last week of December 2017, my father is always complaining that he is having painful bowel movements and we thought that he is just constipated. We went to the hospital but unfortunately, doctors are not available because they are already having their Christmas break so we have no choice but to wait.

January 2018 came and he had his check up. Lab tests and ECG were performed and the results were normal. On January 12, the doctor scheduled him for colonoscopy and they saw a tumor in his rectum and polyp in his colon. They also requested for CT Scan, creatinine and CEA tests. When the tests were completed, the doctor informed us on what is going on with my father and this broke our hearts.

The doctor said that my father needs to undergo surgery as soon as possible to remove the tumor in the rectum as well as the polyp but once they have removed the tumor, they will close his rectum and anus, meaning he will undergo colostomy. He will have his colostomy bag (where he will excrete his waste) in his LIFETIME. They can't save the rectum anymore because the tumor had created swelling near the area.

On January 29, the biopsy result tells that the tumor is malignant. My father was diagnosed with RECTAL CANCER and the doctor told us that my father must undergo surgery and chemotherapy. We asked the doctor about the cost and he informed us that it will cost Php 300,000.00. On February 2, we visited the doctor and advised us that the operation is scheduled on March 5, 2018.

Cancer is a very tough and long battle. Aside from the expensive treatments, this disease crushes the spirit of the patient and family members, but what motivates us to fight is that our father is fighting for his life too. He is very positive that he will recover soon. My father is still young and we want to spend more time with him.

We really want our father to undergo operation but we do not have that big amount of money, thus, we are knocking at your generous hearts to help my father.
