Campaign Story
Waffle and Lucky Boy are my two adorable two-month old Corgis, who unfortunately contracted Parvovirus.
- Canine Parvovirus (CPV), commonly referred to as Parvo, is highly contagious virus that affects dogs. It is a particularly deadly disease in young puppies .
- Puppies that receive treatment by a veterinarian have about a 68 to 92% survival rate. Without treatment, however, approximately 90% of infected puppies will die.
Since contracting the virus, both dogs lost their appetites and vomited whatever they managed to swallow multiple times a day,
The dogs are currently being hospitalised at VES Hospital @ Whitley for treatment.
- Due to the severity of their cases, it cost about
- First day: SGD$2000 to $2500 per puppy
- Subsequent days: SGD$1500 to $2000 per puppy - The dogs have to be hospitalised for about 7 days.
Any amount of contribution is greatly appreciated! Please also help to spread the message to your friends and family. Thank you!
Waffle is the one with droopy ears, while Lucky Boy is the one with pointed ears.
I will upload a picture of the vet bill once I have received it.
Update 1: The receipt shown is from Allpets & Aqualife Vets Pte Ltd, which is not a 24 hours clinic. We have transferred the dogs to VES Hospital so that the dogs can receive 24/7 attention.
Update 2: So far we have raised SGD$2000 from family and friends
