Hi I need help. Last year I studied my first year at Varsity College Pretoria and prior to registering they made me speak to the marketing lady whilst my parents and I were there the marketing lady gave us a lot of information, some being that if you are a student that gets 75%+ you can get a academic bursary from the institution, she went on further and said that bursary varies the better your marks the better the deduction on your total fees, and she encouraged me to apply because "with my marks" she was sure I was going to get the bursary I could even get a 30% deduction , she also said they help student look for part time jobs so the student can be able to pay some of their fees which is not true . last year 2019 I had registered with Varsity College because I wanted their bursary and to apply for the bursary you have to register with them so I did. The academic year commenced and I still didn't receive feedback from them regarding my bursary application, for my matric year I had gotten 76% average so I qualified to apply for the academic bursary but I never received feedback. Because I live in an orphanage there was a volunteer that helped me pay my school fees in the year and in the same year the volunteer said they wont be able to pay my fees for the next year (2020) and because I received this information I made sure I work very hard to qualify for a academic bursary again. I was studying a BAC degree ,my first semester average was 89% and my second semester average was 84% and so I went on and applied for a bursary for this year 2020 again and I didn't receive feedback from the school again and the academic year was commencing and this time there was no volunteer to help so I asked to deregister . Only when I decided to deregister they decided to inform me about a financial aid bursary which even after I went asking around the school about how the bursary works from different people in their institution all I was told was that I have to get an average of above 75%+ average. I wrote a letter explaining why I can't afford to pay the cancellation fee and even then I sent emails but they don't respond explaining my situation that I'm from a low income background where my dad owns a tuck shop which hasn't been profitable because of the pandemic and my mom is a pre-school teacher at our orphanage. I explained how I was able to get funding last year and how the people sponsored me changed their mind and still they want to hold me liable even though they give partial information. I tried looking for work and I couldn't find one I started a gogetfunding fundraiser and haven't received not 1 donation and now they want to take legal actions against me and I don't know what to . May someone please help me, I'll provide the link. Thank you. https://assets.gogetfunding.com/please-help-me-with-my-un...
