Please help me to help Alex

Please help ALEX get on her feet and start a new career in PHOTOGRAPHY which is her passion and dream job!

Let us show her that there are people who care about her.

ALEXANDRA not only has a heart of GOLD but PURE SOUL - she is one of the most kind, genuine people you will ever meet!

ALEXANDRA has had a REALLY TOUGH life including things none of us could really imagine, however this fierce WARRIOR does not let that stop her! Alex is a proud member of Rotaract (an NPO which focuses ongoing back!), she is actively job seeking and she has IMPRESSIVE PHOTOGRAPHIC SKILLS but in order to make her dreams come true in her chosen field Alex needs funding to study and buy the equipment that she needs to become a travelling photographer.

“Hi my name is Alexandra Magliolo and I am a 24 year old from Cape Town, I am unemployed because I lost my father recently and I haven’t had the money to study and my mom has needed my help at home.


I have always had a passion for photography despite having problems with my eyes and several procedures I still cannot see the world perfectly but through the lense the world is perfect to me and that is how I wish to look at it.


I have recently been offered an opportunity to gain some amazing experience in photography.

To photograph local South African bands and International Rock, Metal, Alternative, Punk etc to gain this experience and to put my foot in the door in this industry would be an amazing opportunity for me. The only problem I have is that I do not have the right kind of camera and I can not afford to buy one.

A little bit of a background, I have had so many downs in my life in the past few years, losing my home, almost being homeless several times no of my making of others and still could be. Lost two family members last year one was my father.

I cannot express what it would mean to me to be able to take photos of other people living their dream. I want to live mine and share the photos I take with the world. That is all I want.

I also hope to use this camera for Rotary to make a positive impact on society. I will strive to change lives through giving back with the same kindness others have shown me!”

ALEX has been through so much having lost her father in 2019, (the bread-winner) and NOW facing eviction.

All we really want is to see her succeed and excel in life! This beautiful brown-eyed girl really deserves a break!

PLEASE HELP US TO HELP ALEX AND WE WILL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL


We just know that Alex will do SO much good with this camera, she will be able to capture the townships for Rotary (promoting those who need it), earn a living and it will make her so happy.


The proceeds collected will go towards Alex’s education and equipment.

This will NOT ONLY HELP SUPPORT ALEX but it will HELP so many of us who care about he such as her mom, brother, friends etc.
