Help Lebogang attend Texas Christian University

my name is Lebogang Maloka. I am 20 years old, currently studying Business management at University of Johannesburg and I am currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. originally from Mpumalanga province, Mmametlhake. A year ago i got an opportunity to go study and pursue my track and field career at Texas Christian University in the U.S. i got recruited and it immediately sparked my interest. It has been one of my goals to study and pursue track and field career outside South Africa after winning national track and field championships last year 2015 (100m, 200m and long jump) my personal records are : 100m = 10.38s , 200m= 20.99s and long jump= 7.48m

I preached the idea to my family which is my mom and grandmother. I applied at Texas Christian University and i signed scholarship agreement which covers my tuition fees, accommodation, books, meals.

However my family is not financially stable enough to sponsor my trip to Texas. Total costs add up to about R20,000 or ($1,400) for me to go, this includes the flight expenses and VISA costs. I know there will be other costs involved that I have not yet calculated so I am trying to get a part time job for the December holidays so that i can raise some funds myself.

I also have a good friend Derrick Mokaleng who would be leaving with me next year January on the 8th and all of the money that is donated over what I need to accomplish my goals I will donate to him.

i am looking forward to make my family proud since i will be the first person in my family to study abroad.
