Please help me get this woman off the streets

There is the most amazing woman in my community who’s life has fallen apart. Ive raised as much money personally as I can, but I’m reaching out to you & pleading for your help.

She is a 52 year old mixed race woman with two daughters (aged 19 & 21). She has 3 degrees through UNISA in psychology. She is a qualified life coach.

I had a little chat with her & she explained everything to me. I will summarize it for you. She was born in Cape Town, South Africa, & put up for adoption where she then lived in many different foster homes throughout her childhood. She was physically, mentally & sexually abused as a young girl. Due to the abuse, she developed severe eye trauma. She moved to Johannesburg when she got out of the foster system & started to get herself on her feet being employed at a bank.

She then got married and had 2 beautiful daughters. She later got divorced. Her daughters were not able to see their father for +- 10 years due to a number of reasons. Things got tough & she was struggling to keep food on the table & a roof over their heads , being a single Mom.

Her eyesight has worsened over the years, causing severe struggle & inability to perform normal & everyday tasks. She lost her job in 2016. Her two daughters are the only family she ever had, & she was forced to send them to their father after being forcefully removed from a property due to not being able to pay rent on time. Her daughters would go for 2/3 nights without a meal.

Since 2016, she has been unemployed & struggles to find a job due to her eyesight, even with all of her qualifications. From 2019, she began receiving little money from SASSA for her disability. She has no medical aid. She has been staying in a flat with no electricity or water as she cannot afford the rent but fortunately, hasn’t been forcefully evicted yet.

This campaign is to raise money for this incredible woman who has pushed through everyday and has never let her daughters experience what she has. We want to help her get back onto her feet so that she doesn’t end up homeless and so that she can fulfill her biggest wish: living with her children & being able to see them while she still has her eyesight.

Anything will be appreciated. This woman is so close & dear to our hearts. It’s heartbreaking to see her suffer as much as she does. She is an excellent mother, a wise friend & an angel in disguise.
