Please help me fund Emmit the Pug’s operation so he can be without pain.

Hi world! My puggy boy was recently diagnosed with a lumbar disease (Lumbosacral Joint Disease), in which problems regarding the connection between his pelvis and spinal cord are causing him pain and severely impacting his mobility. He is on pain medication, but treating the symptoms won't help. I am a post graduate student newly introduced into the working world of geology, obviously with not much behind my name. I wish I could afford the steps to help my boy but at the moment I'm just not able to do so. We took him to the vet where he had undergone a thorough physical examination, followed by x-rays. The Doc told us that the next step is to get him into a MRI for detailed delineation of the problem, followed by an operation to fix the connection between his pelvis and his spine. Here in South Africa, the MRI equates to roughly 600$, and the operation to 1100$. Please help me help Emmit, I hate to ask I'm a proud person, but my boy needs me to help him, I don't have any other options. Thank you for the time, I'd really appreciate any help.
