Help me finally get my career started!

Hello! My name is Brenda. I’m 41 years old and I finally know what I want to do when I grow up!

You could say I have taken the road less traveled. I like to quote a favorite saying “ Not all who wander are lost” I feel like I have been searching for my passion for many years only to discover hardships and struggles in the work force.

For most of my adult life I have struggled being a single mother. If you knew me you’d know asking for money or help in any way is somewhat difficult for me. I’m not asking for food, clothes or shelter for me and my children. Just something that would better myself and my ability to provide for them.

I have a very beautiful 19 year old daughter who loves her mom to no end. I may not be rich or successful (yet) but I sure did raise a well rounded child with a beautiful heart that cares and loves people of all kinds.

I also have a very strong 13 year old that loves fiercely and doesn’t take $&/@ from anyone.

Both my girls got these traits from me. I have always taught them to be humble and kind to those around us. That they are not better than any one person on this earth. Even though I love them the most out of everyone I can honestly say I refused to raise girls that treated others like they were less than.

With that being said, I need to show them that nothing will stop me from being able to provide for them the way a mother should. I didn’t get to raise my girls with money. We struggled everyday and still do. But I have very high hopes that things are about to turn around for us.

I have always been interested in the real estate field. However being an agent was never an option for me because you have to start with making absolutely no money before you make your first sale. You have to advertise and make a lot of upfront payments for things to kickstart your career. I did not have the luxury of that time. So I have decided to go a similar route but one that offers immediate high paying jobs after you are licensed.

I would like to get my license as a Community Association Manager. A CAM is someone who works with homeowners. CAMs are responsible for overseeing and managing condominiums, homeowners’ associations, planned unit developments, cooperatives, timeshares and mobile home parks. In Florida where I live they are required to take a 16 hour course and obtain your state license and do continuing education periodically through out your career.

The median salary in Florida for a CAM is 65,000. It doesn’t sound like much but there are ways to make that salary much higher. Years of experience, a great company that is well established, my drive and dedication. CAM’S can potentially earn in the high range of 90,000 in Florida. I want to be one of those people. I will not stop until I am.

Like I said I’m 41 but I have many, many working years left that I need to create some financial freedom and security for me and my two daughters.

I’m asking for help to get my license and reach my goal once and for all. I’m asking for the chance to make my daughters proud of their mother.

I have laid out the criteria and cost to obtain a license. I am asking for 1 months help with monthly bills in order for me to take 30 days and pass this state exam with flying colors. Its $500.0

One month’s bills are close to $2500.00 so I’m asking for a total of $3,000 including the licensure To help me gain my dignity back.

I have worked my whole life in medical administration. It’s not a very high paying career. It is a lot of verbal abuse from patients and doctors that feel they can talk down to you. I would love a chance to make my dreams come true and finally feel proud of myself.

If you can help me reach my career goals you could be helping start a new life for me and my two girls. One they never got to see. Me being financially stable. It would be life altering and amazing to see them cheer me on. I know that I can do this. I just don’t have the funds to do it alone. Please find it in your heart to help someone gain financial respect for herself.
