Please help Danna fight Dermatomyositis (Autoimmune Disease)

On December 6th, 2018, Danna was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called, Dermatomyositis. We were told that this is of one the rarest forms of autoimmune diseases.

Luckily, the doctors believe we caught the disease before it got too out of control. Currently, she has pains in her knees/hips and rashes on her skin, due to the inflammation, but she remains playful and energetic.

So far, she has gone through intense treatment requiring hospitalization. She is continuing to receive treatment to get a grip on the disease. Alongside the treatment, Danna is on a strict anti-inflammatory diet (provided by Dr Brooke Goldner, author of Goodbye Lupus), all of which we are placing our highest hopes on.

Danna is 6 years old. She enjoys going to school, playing with other kids, Girl Scouts, Heartlight, video games, cartoons, Seaworld, The Fleet Science Center, Campland, riding her scooter, being together with her family, and more. Once her hip/knee pains settle down, we’re looking forward to getting her back outside for some bike/scooter rides.

Unfortunately the medical insurance is not covering all expenses hence Crowdfunding
