Hi my name is Natalie and I am in desperate need of help. I have recently found a small and affordable place of my own to rent in Bristol, after months of searching and I have been told that I have passed the agency's strict referencing process! :)
However, now comes the part where I have to pay the agency's fees and deposits and that is where I am not sure how I'm going to manage! They are asking for 2 months rent as deposit (as I am bringing a pet), inventory fees and some of the rent in advance as I am moving in partway through January. I have already had to come up with £300 for the referencing process and have insurances and utility bills for a part month to look forward to...and this is all before I move in!!
I currently live with my parents but I am having to relocate 80 miles away therefore my desperate hunt for another place. I appreciate this is an unusual request however I now understand why people never move or can afford their own place!!
Therefore I ask for any help you can give, be it £5 or even £10 as every little bit will help me take that step towards my new life without having to go down the payday loan route! :(
To summarise, the costs I need to come up with in the next few days are:
Deposit - £1,100 (2 x month's rent)
Inventory fee - £80 (the place is unfurnished so I think this is rather unnecessary!!!)
Part rent in advance as moving in during the month - £400
Total = £1,580
It may not seem much but is a lot when you have the cost of moving as well!
Thank you for taking the time to read my plea and hope that you will think my cause worthy enough of your help. If not, thank you for taking the time to read this.
Best wishes for the new year,
