Plea for a pooch.

Six months ago, due to severe depression, I lost my job. Having worked for over 40 years, it was a huge shock. My own little dog passed away two years ago, aged 16, and I t's taken until now to get over that loss, though I still miss my Princess badly.

My counsellor has said another dog would help with my depression and anxiety.

I have no family left, and no close friends locally, so the loneliness can be overwhelming sometimes, and a little dog would be wonderful company for me.

I would be incredibly humbled and grateful if anyone could spare a few pounds to help me. I'm hoping to rescue a dog, but still need funds for adoption fees, insurance, plus toys, bowls etc.
