Planting Calendar & Sojournal – diary and personal guide

My mission is to encourage everyone to be gardening and growing vegetables, herbs and indigenous plants and to be excited about sharing their experience. For this to happen, we need tools, guidelines, information!

I am the designer and creator of the Sojournal and Planting Calendar, both have been published since 2008, as an evolution of my self published calendar launched in 2001. These annual publications provide ancient tools for modern living, encouraging you to be pro-active in your journey of self empowerment.

Since the fires in the Garden Route, South Africa, where I live, I have a vision of a very special planting calendar, sharing some images of hope, as the plants return through the ashes. It is vital, now more than ever, that we actively assist to restore indigenous status and more conscious gardening.

NOTE: 10% of all sales profit will be donated to a local environmental project, receiver announced annually.

In order for these publications to continue as a viable business, I have to push the annual units up. Having leveled at an unsustainable annual volume average of 1000 units, I have found a way to produce more stock earlier in the year and meet the ever growing demand.

With your contribution toward the 7500USD which converts to about R100 000, we can go full steam ahead!

With in-house printing machines, we can produce on demand and the orders can be limitless. This creates jobs for extra staff and enables a wider range of products along the line.

We aim to reach our target by the end of August 2017, however, we have chosen the ongoing funding option to get the cash flow rolling sooner, for production.

This funding will also support the creation of the long awaited online Apps!

The accompanying revamped website aims to share garden experiences with the use of audio visual media, connecting our global community in a fun interactive way.Show your veggies off and make the the 'fashion' of the century to grow grow grow.
