Personal training startup

My name is David. I have recently received my personal training and specialist in fitness nutrition certifications and I am in the process of starting my own business. I have been involved in group fitness for 10 years and realize that I could do so much more to help people reach their fitness goals by working with them one on one and in smaller groups.

I live in a small town that has a small gym with limited resources. Many people in this town want to improve their health but because of work schedules and travel time they simply can’t get to the gym when it is open or find it intimidating to try to sort out what type of exercise is best for them. To help with this after getting certified I started doing some free and low cost boot camps in a public park. However to help people to continue to progress with their fitness goals I need more equipment. I currently pay out of pocket for the equipment we use and since these camps currently don’t make money I cannot afford to continue to purchase more equipment. I am currently buying items for a suspension training camp I would like to do in April but I can only buy a few things every few weeks so it takes a lot of time to get enough equipment for each participant.

Funding for camps like this would really help the people in this small town be able to learn how to live healthier lifestyles since it goes beyond simply exercising. I give them nutritional information that they can use along with their workouts so they can get the full benefit of the camp. Funding would help pay for suspension straps, mats, weights, as well as educational handouts. Any support for this project would be greatly appreciated in this small town. It is a close knit community and we all try to look out for one another. For me being able to provide these camps and other fitness programs would be a wonderful way to give back to the people I see everyday I this little town.
