Paradise Community Centre ,The Centre is located at the slums of Kibera that focuses on changing the lives of the vulnerable underprivileged Street Children, orphans, young mothers and the elderly living in Kibera slums, the Centre cares for 37kids,25 residential and the 12 community outreach.

This Centre urgently needs your help. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, there's no money and there's no food. If you can offer any money, it will be the best value-for-money donation you can give. Every single cent is going to the most urgent necessities. And also to buy land and build a healthy environment for the kids to grow innovatively with facilities like, classes, library, dormitories, play grounds and dispensary.

The Centre was started in the year 2002 by Ms. Pamela Owino, mother-of-five, to support HIV-affected and orphaned children in the slum. This is what a hero looks like:

Following the devastating 2007 election violence in Kenya, Kibera slum was one of the hardest hit areas, and many families were tragically affected. This left many people homeless and hundreds of children orphaned and in severe conditions. The Centre soon developed into a fully fledged rescue program, housing 150 displaced adults and vulnerable children.

Our objective is to provide basic needs to the children under our care, such as food, shelter, education and medical care. The Centre aims to go beyond the provision of the bare necessities to cultivate an environment that is conducive for the welfare and growth of the children into responsible, productive and law-abiding citizens in future.
