Help Us Represent South Africa in Panama!

On September 9, 2023, our teams, JAT (Jonty Kogler, Asher Briix, and Tristan Greeff) and MacGyver (Ethan Greeff, Josh Seelhammer, and Reuben Swart) placed first and second respectively at the National Finals of the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO), labelling us currently the best LEGO Robotics Senior Teams in South Africa! As a result, we have been invited to represent South Africa at the 2023 November WRO International Competition in Panama! At this competition, the skills of South Africa's finest will be pitted against those of 80 other countries including the United States of America, Japan, China, and India.

--Be part of representing South Africa abroad. Do you believe South Africans have what it takes to be able to compete internationally? We do! South Africa is a country blessed with lots of skill and creativity--skill and creativity which is often left undeveloped or thrown away due to no financial backing. Don't let these skills and this opportunity join the long list of those lost to our nation!

--Be part of our team! All the members of our teams are currently in high school. This is an opportunity for them to expand their horizons. This may be the event that motivates them to achieve their dreams of becoming great engineers or IT specialists who will one-day be able to uplift their communities in the future!

We need to raise R210 000 before October 7, 2023:

It costs roughly R30 000 for each team member and their coach (Belinda Openshaw) to travel to Panama.

Flights: R23 000 each

WRO Registration (including accommodation, meals and transport): R7 000
