Campaign Story
About
What is Paint_Unhate:
A Stencil kit with 4 cartoon animals inside: A Kitty, a piggy, flamingo and crow.
These stencil kits can fit over any graffiti swastika and turn it into a cartoon animal. It also comes as a digital set to fit any size pattern.
We need YOU to share the message: If we can turn #Paint_Unhate into a global discussion we can make a real impact, please share this project and the hashtag #Paint_Unhate in your social media feed.
Hate groups have been growing in strength over the past few years and swastikas have started to pop up like never before, so we started to take action and turn these awful swastikas into thought provoking comical patterns.
See below a little piggy win his battle with a swastika
And here a Flamingo, from the #Paint_Unhate set turns a swastika into an adorable cartoon
#Paint_Unhate:
We created a stencil kit that doesn't just erase swastikas but rather turn them into cartoon animals, #Paint_Unhate turns hate symbols into lovable symbols of compassion. It's our way of subverting hate speech and turning it upside-down
Meet the #Paint_Unhate animals
We're pretty proud of these little guys. All of them are a product of Mysh's amazing mind and talent. They all take the lines of a swastika and turn it into this amazing new creature.
The logic behind #Paint_Unhate
We decided to take on hate globally using this tool. The idea is to be able to turn any graffiti swastika on its head and turn in into something that laughs at hate rather than cover it up. This way anyone who thinks of drawing a swastika will know that sooner or later it will become a cartoon and lose all its impact.
