Overcoming Life’s Interruptions

Hello , My name is Kelly and I am starting this fund raiser to help over come the debt I have built do to my ongoing health issues .

  I am a single woman age 45 . I have spent the past 25 yrs. Struggling through a mysterious and non explainable health issues . I have been on my own since I was 15 and a mother since 15 also . I have always worked hard and still do everyday . 

  I have raised 3 beautiful and hard working loving children . They have been my strength through every day of pain and fear I have lived .  My children are all in there 20's now , married and have blessed me with 6 grandchildren I never thought I would be alive to enjoy . 

  I have spent the past 25 yrs struggling through a multitude of health issues that even the Drs have no clear explanation of . I have undergone surgeries at a rate of 2 every 9 months to a yr for the past 10 yrs(52 total in my life ) . By Gods Grace I have managed to keep my head above water and was able to keep a roof over my children's head and food on the table .  I have always worked and even when the Drs wanted me to go on disability 7 yrs ago , I refused to give up and continued to provide for my last child at home .  What choice did I have as a single mom I could not go without an income  indefinitely .

   From 2011 until 2013 I could only receive medical treatment through Emergency Rooms  as I no longer had a minor child at home . I have had to be self employed for the past 9 yrs , due to the pain and chronic vomiting my illness left me with . There were days just getting out of bed could take 30 minutes.

   In July of 2013 I temporarily moved in with my middle child in Mn and I was able to receive some Desperately needed Organized medical care . From Aug of 2013 to Nov 26th of 2013 I under went 3 back to back surgeries . 2 of the surgeries were my routine surgeries of scraping my intestines and repairing my bile duct . The last was planned on being a routine surgery of removing reoccurring scar tissue that bound my organs together . By the Grace of God the New Surgeon took a chance and removed my intestines and reweaved them back inside me . That one chance of Hope has allowed me to be 85% Free of pain for the past 14 months .  Unfortunately I still suffer from limitations and need to be self employed to continue to cater to my medical interruptions . But I am Blessed with every day I can walk and work . I am no quitter and will never quit pushing to move forward . 

  What I haven't mentioned is the Blessing of my 3 children financially helping me get through those surgeries and recouperation .  With families of there own , they cannot help me anymore . Now I am able to make money refurbishing furniture and reselling it ( the down  side is I do. It have a vehicle that allows me to take in larger items  or that is reliable any longer .) .

   The multitude of debt I have endured over the yrs of fighting an illness no Dr has yet been able to understand and providing for 3 children as a single mother for 20 plus yrs has now left me in over my head .  So after many prayers and sleepless nights , I was councilled that I should reach out for support .  My car is 15 yrs old and falling  apart , My credit a wreck and I can not even afford a pair of shoes that don't leave my feet feeling like I have daggers going through them ( neuropathy symptoms are part of my illness ) . I need glasses , my eyes are failing fast .

   I am a smart , educated and self motivated person . But I am in Desperate need of a New Beginning . I am Desperate to clear my debt ( medical bills - student loans - utility bills and A Reliable Car to go to trade shows and flea markets to sell my items ) .

  With your contribution I will get a Solid , Reliable Car , pay for a yrs medical insurance ( very costly with my mediical  history ) and pay off all those little debts that keep me from even being able to purchase a bed . Yes I sleep on an air mattress as I had to give up all my belongings when I went to have my surgeries and stay with my daughter . 

  My story is long and complicated . So the pastor who advised me to start this donation page , also suggested that each day I write a part of my life journey from the beginning to the point that led me here along with updates of how I have began rebuilding my life .I will be starting a Facebook page  for all Donors to visit called Kelly's Life Interupted explaining my full life Journey . 

  I Also Promise in The Lords Name to Pay It Forward .For every $1 donated , once I am able to build my self up I will donate weekly to any cause my Donor ask me to pay it forward to . Example : Once I can get my car and work daily again , I will go down the list of Donors and there requested pay it forward donations destination and donate to one donors choice each week , more  when I can . I will continue to pay it forward until all Donations I receive have been paid forward to another in full . Then Once I have fully paid all funds forward , I will go through the list of donations again and continue to pay it forward until I have matched those funds . I will fulfill this pay it forward promise if it takes my life time.
