Our Marvel-Us Cake Dream! Life is sweet, after all…

Matt began making the most MARVELOUS cakes over a decade ago! Today, we have 60+ flavors of cupcakes, and since Cherilyn took over the decorating, we've tackled custom projects like wedding cut cakes, baby's smash cakes, gender reveal cakes, pull apart cupcake cakes.... We get asked all the time when. . . . .

Matt began making the most MARVELOUS cakes over a decade ago! Today, we have 60+ flavors of cupcakes, and since Cherilyn took over the decorating, we've tackled custom projects like wedding cut cakes, baby's smash cakes, gender reveal cakes, pull apart cupcake cakes....

We get asked all the time when we are going to get our commercial kitchen up and running, and turn our hobby into a business. That has been our dream for years, after all. We had nearly all the money saved when vet bills to nurse our sweet old pup Coco back to health, my ankle injury followed by a cancelled travel nurse contract has us right back at square one. Saving that money by ourselves took years, and honestly....the idea of postponing our dream of sharing our Marvel-US cupcakes with the bluegrass area any longer while we save the money again is just sad!

Rather than take out a fat loan and begin our new venture in debt to a bank who doesn't know us or love us, we are turning to you, our friends and family! Most of you have enjoyed Matt's baking skills firsthand. If you worked with me in one hospital or other...you've probably sampled many and picked your favorite flavor (since he loves nothing more than sweetening the shift of scrub-wearers)!

Any funds raised will help us keep our heads above water while we pay for a contractor, electrician, and plumber, buy massive refrigerators, prep tables and a triple sink, and a delivery vehicle. Phase 2 of our dream means locals will see us at vendor events in our very own cupcake truck!!

As a thank you for your generosity, local donors are essentially pre-paying for cake!! For distant donors, we will have swag to send out with our logo (which is in development...so exciting!) All donors will be thanked on our website and Facebook page.

Financial support is fantastic of course, but there is a way you can help that costs only a few moments of your time!! Please share our campaign on your timeline with a few sentences of introduction. Share how you know us, what you think of our cake if you've tried it...what dazzling and giving humans you think we are.... Believe it or not, despite Matt being the incredible people person he is, we are still a well kept secret even here close to home. It's time to get the word out and make a big splash!!!
