Campaign Story
Hello everyone!
This is our neighbor and close family friend Aiden Castillo. He is a bright little boy full of heart, energy, kindness and care. He is 8 years old and is in the fourth grade elementary with our little sister. Aiden is the kindest boy you'll ever meet. Since Aiden's father left along time ago, our family has been good friends with the Castillo's and helping each other whenever we can.
Aiden is the hero! He takes good care of his mom and helps her around the house as much as he can as Mrs. Castillo is a home based call center agent and works hard to make sure Aiden has a happy life. He's also a straight "A" student, loves to paint with his mom every weekends and loves watching movies.
Sadly on the evening of May 12, 2019 while Aiden and his Mom were heading home after watching a movie at SM South Mall, both were hit by a speeding vehicle when crossing the road sending both Aiden and his Mom meters away.
People around that witnessed the tragedy ran to help the unconscious and bleeding mother and son and were rushed to Asian Medical hospital were they were treated for their injuries.
Mrs. Castillo received a broken right arm, a broken nose and a few bruises around her body and is recovering. She was discharged on the 14th and is tending to poor Aiden as he received broken ribs, a broken left ankle, a broken right hand and leg, 4 broken fingers and a blood clot on his brain.
Surgery was performed on Aiden for his broken hand and leg but neurosurgery will be performed on him to rid him of the clot on his brain as his left eye is starting to swell up due to the clot.
Due to limited coverage of Mrs. Castillo's medical card, PHP 300,000 ($5,700) will only be covered and currently Aiden's medical bills have already reach Php 457,900 ($8,689). So some family and friends are doing what they can to help pay for Aiden's medical needs and expenses.
Aiden needs all the help he can get and any amount of donation will have a big impact with with his road to recovery.

Update posted by Shaienne Mallari at 04:50 pmWith a heavy heart, it is hard to say that our little Aiden passed away at 9:14pm on May 23rd due to complications after his neurosurgery. We are all heart broken with this as we lost our Aiden the batman, the good and kind neighbor, the joker, the magician and. . . . .

Any amount will have a big impact with his recovery.But GOOD NEWS!!!Aiden is done with surgery! It was scary as his heart stopped for nearly a minute but everything is alright now
