Our Life Together

Matt and I have been together 4 years now and have been engaged for 1.. We're hoping to move in together by the end of this year and to get married next March. We would love you to read our story and would appreciate any message of encouragement or donation large or small = )

We have been friends since we met in high school when we were 11.. My year 7 school planner has 'Mrs Victoria Buckney' and 'I love Matty' scribbled all over it! We didn't start dating until we were 17 and since then it's been amazing! We went to Sixth Form together and tried going to University in different cities but couldn't so Matt moved to a uni near where I was. We lived together at university and spent our summers working as Camp Counselors in the United States. We got engaged at the zoo in January 2011 and have been looking forward to getting married since then but are having trouble raising the funds needed for a house deposit and a wedding.

Since we came back from the USA we made the tough but sensible decision to save money by living with our parents again. Matt is returning to America this summer to work as the Assistant Athletics Director on a summer camp and when he returns he has a placement volunteering in the school where we met, next year he will be going back to University to complete his Post-Graduate Certificate in Education so that he can become a High School Teacher. At the moment we both have full time jobs on opposite schedules and are saving every penny we have left after rent and bus passes but it is an uphill struggle!
