Oscar needs an expensive treatment for hemoparasites and I don’t want to lose him

Hi there! My name is Alisson and this is a GoFoundMe that I have created for my little Oscar. My misery with my cat began on Tuesday when I realized that I did not want to eat or drink at all. I instantly called a vet to help, however, I was told I had to wait because it wasn't a clinic.

With sadness, I had to wait because I do not have enough resources to pay for a clinic and the truth is I feel useless for it because seeing him suffer hurts me too much.

On Wednesday he arrived and they could see him, they gave him some injections that made him feel better; The next day he took it the same, but this time he relapsed. Therefore, I called the vet and they told me that I should take him to a clinic for more advanced tests.

And that they were not responsible for what might happen to him...

When they told me that, my world fell over and I was filled with helplessness, more against myself. Because I have known Óscar since I was in high school, he accompanied me when they bullied me at school, when I felt alone, even when I was in my chemotherapy he looked at me from the stairs like someone saying "I take care of you"

And now I couldn't do anything for him, it wasn't fair.

So I searched family and friends to borrow to pay for a clinic.

There they looked at him and told me that he could have caught an infection (hemoparasites). I thought it was treatment and he was going to get better, but they told me that for him to heal he needs to stay there with them, that from now on he would follow a complex number of processes where they had to put a gastric tube, supplements to raise his platelets because he was it 40 K/μL when he should at least be around 150K/μL and take him an X-ray to have a good understanding of how he can improve.

But this is where I couldn't help crying because I had already spent all my money on the consultation and blood tests. I'm still looking at a way to get into debt, but even if I asked for a two-month advance, I would not reach my goal because they told me that Oscar needs at least 860 dollars (3500 soles) to admit him to the clinic and do his respective exams, but the average earning in my country in a month is 221 dollars (900 soles).

It's impossible and I'm desperate. The truth is I don't want to lose him, he has been with me for 6 years and now I can't say goodbye to him just like anything, but I don't want to see him suffer either, I love my kitten too much.

I really want to spend these holidays next to him, to have him close and with the care that he deserves.

I know that for parties there may not be enough resources in his homes and I understand it, I know exactly how that is.
