Hello there! I am a university student who want to join the Operation Wallacea this summer in 2016. (Operation Wallacea is a network of academics, who design and implement biodiversity and conservation management research expeditions.) As a student who want to support the research by flying to Transylvania and Guyana, and collecting data of wildlife there, I need to fund myself enough money. (£2890 for 5-weeks research, £1100 for flight!)

Transylvania is an amazing place for biodiversity research, because the traditional agricultural methods people applied has contributed the preservation of their landscape. Exploring the local wildlife is thus an extraordinary experience of knowing the reason behind its thriving ecosystem and its cooperation with human activities. As for Guyana, it is the most remote and toughest of all expeditions, but probably the one providing people with the best insight into forest-based terrestrial ecosystem. By recent measurement of the influence of scientifically planned logging in the forest, it is hopeful that we can understand the change and help the wildlife be flourishing in the future as well.

If you are interested in biodiversity conservation, or just being impressed by the amazing life on earth, please support me by donating some money. Thank you!
