One Mother Helping Another

Hi! My name is Claudette Johnson, I am  a single mother who has confronted unemployment, poverty and cancer. As a result of my own experience, I am familiar with the despair and frustration endemic to women struggling to survive. I was very fortunate and I am using my second chance to empower single mothers, elderly and disadvantaged women, who have little or no computer skills.  My goal is to use my 25 years of computer experience and training to help make computer literacy accessible.

One Mother Helping Another is A one women project offering FREE computer training without the burden of excessive student loans, or any red tape. Just show up, sign in and start learning. One Mother Helping Another covers the essential computer knowledge and skills needed in the workplace. I am convinced that access to education can make the difference between disparity and hope and I am committed to CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVING KNOWLEDGE through FREE EDUCATION.

Your contribution will help provide life changing skills, computers and equipment. Training can eliminate dependence and create sustainability by increasing a woman’s chances of earning a living for  herself and family. My goal is to encourage empowerment, open doors, build self-confidence and self-esteem.
