My name is Olumba Obu Obu. My first name means "leader" and the second and third both mean "conqueror" in the language of Biakpan. I was born in South Orange, New Jersey and lived there for 10 years. I am the oldest of five children. I have two brothers and two sisters. Now I reside in Atlanta,GA. in Gwinnett County.I graduated from Berkmar High School in Gwinnett County. Both my parents are Nigerian. My mother is Igbo and my father is Biakpan. I have been to Nigeria three times, and I am due to go back and visit soon. My favorite food is rice and stew and jollof rice. I enjoy hooping and watching movies.I am a hooper at heart and a huge movie fanatic. I am an upcoming artist and songwriter known as Olu. I was committed to the school choir for seven years. I am now a biology major at Georgia State University, yet I am currently a junior. I am aspiring to one day become a pediatrician as well as establish several clinics in Africa. Alongside that goal, I also want to become a legendary musical entertainer. With the power of music, I dream to impact the world in a positive way. WIthin the historical figures seen in the music industry, I idolize artists such as Michael Jackson, James Brown, Whitney Houston, Joe, Monica, Usher and many more. My favorite group is between the JAckson 5 and Boyz II Men. I am a hardworking individual who is dedicated to making creative and entertaining music to the world. I thank my parents for disciplining me and teaching me values that have prepared me for success. I truly believe that talent plays a role with how good a person becomes, but hard work really determines how great a person becomes. I must lead and conquer everything I start.
