US$9,257.00raised of $15,000.00 goal
Olifants West Nature Reserve is a protector of the Western Boundary of the Greater Kruger National Park, and is home to the Black Mambas All-Women Anti-Poaching Team.We have been building a strong conservation model within the local tribal villages on our boundary and with the Covid-19 Lockdown in place, most of these families no longer have an income and access to food.
We strive to raise funds to empower the Black Mamba women to deliver food parcels to the most vulnerable families in the communities of Maseke, Makushane and Mashishimale.
By contributing to this cause, we will strengthen the relationship with the communities, ensure the Black Mamba women are still held in high esteem by their peers and communities, and alleviate the need for the commmunity members to hunt wild animals for food during the lockdown period.
