01/02/2019 - Having successfully raised £3310 for our production budget,
we are now seeking an addition £3387 to fund our post production period.
It’s the turn of a New Year and a young woman fumbles her way through the abyss of an unknown future.
Nobody's Darling is a sad love letter to London, blending the uniquely neurotic nature of American comedy, with a healthy dose of British irony. Think Frances Ha meets Simon Amstell, sound tracked by dreamy 1960’s music.
Nobody’s Darling is a fifteen minute short film.
It is a funny, inventive, female led story, true to the experience of being a young woman in London today.
We have formed a team of young, talented London based creatives to work on this project. The project is female led and has BAME creatives in key roles.
We raised our production budget through Go Get Funding and our successful Kickstarter campaign to fund a three day shoot in early December.
We are very proud to say that we have now completed shooting and that we honoured our commitment to pay our entire cast and crew as the hard working creatives they are.
We are now looking for your support to help get us to the finishing line, through the post production process, so that we can share Nobody's Darling with the world.
In order to make this film into a reality, we will be needing to raise a post-production budget of:
For this reason we are contacting people and organisations who we believe will be passionate about our project and want to be part of our journey.
