Campaign Story
Our daughter has been doing karate since she was about 6 years old - she is now turning 9 - and is going to be grading to her blue belt soon. She is part of Tenshinkan South Gauteng and has grown in leaps and bounds. Last year she took part in the Kancho Cup which was held in South Africa. She came first and second in her age and belt category. We are not sure where the Internationals will be this year but some of the possibilities include Japan, Denmark and Australia.
To be more proactive, we have decided to start fundraising now to enable her to take part in whichever International Championships she can. Funds would then go towards flights, accommodation, travel expenses and whichever expenses arise from taking part in the championship. (8 regional and 1 national championship a year set us back about R2500 - R3500 a year).
She truly excels and enjoys moving up in the Martial Arts world and any assistance in providing her the opportunity to extend that across our borders would be greatly appreciated.

Internationals... different options.
Update posted by Charlene Human at 07:25 amSo I'll be having a chat with Daniella's Shihan-Dai at karate tonight about the different internationals she'd be eligible for so that we can decide on one and then from there we'd have a better idea of the kind of expenses. She took part in the East Gauteng Championship on

I'll be talking to Daniella's Shihan-Dai today to find out if Daniella would be eligible for it. The boost
