First we would like to start by introducing ourselves; our names are Joe and Amanda McGugan. We are a newly married couple. Currently living in the Coeur d’ Alene Idaho area, we are preparing for a move to North Carolina to be closer to our family.
We are looking for help in raising money to move as well as, startup capital for our new business focused on working with local churches and non-profits. The business is a bookkeeping and payroll company whose primary focus is to provide quality and professional services, at low and fixed monthly rates.
Some of the Things that we have been doing to help raise money are selling off all of our furniture. We have also been selling off and getting rid of anything none essential or too big to be shipped back to North Carolina. We have also put back money from paychecks and taxes to help raise all the funds we need. However we are still coming up short and that is the reason we are writing you to seek further assistance. Also there is a Facebook page and a donation website that we are using to help seek assistance.
Our total goal for fundraising is 10,000.00 (Dollars US).
As previously stated this money will be going to help us move back to North Carolina but also to help start our Christian based Bookkeeping and Payroll Company. The First part our move will be by car where we will pack up all we can fit in our car and drive back to North Carolina.
The Second is our company which we would like to tell you a little bit about. The Name of the Company will be (The Bookkeeping and Payroll Network) or BPN for short. The original Idea behind this company was to create a financial company that actually helps its clients, working off the philosophy of serving through works.
So we have designed several unique sets of systems that will help us in this process. The first is a fixed monthly rate for our services no hourly rate means it will be easier to budget and afford the services we offer. Secondly by incorporating the technology of today into our processes we can limit our overhead and almost eliminate waste which is why we can offer low fixed monthly rates to all of our clients.
One of our unique systems is by scanning all clients’ documents we create digital copies for them that can be accessed by multiple electronic means allowing them to also promote green, by allowing them to recycle paper and start to use less and of course free up space in their own offices. Then there is our approach to bookkeeping instead of limiting ourselves to only one program we use multiple programs, everything from Excel and Access to QuickBooks, and Xero online accounting. This allows us to build custom and unique services no matter the kind of company we work for.
