Thanks for visiting our funding page for the new chapter in our life.  We have decided it's best for our family to move 1300 miles to Bradenton, Florida and start a new life there.  The amount we are trying to achieve is what's needed for us to make that move.  This covers the expense of moving our stuff, deposits of utilities when we arrive, a couple of safety concerns on our car to get it to Florida, and will hopefully cover any unexpected trouble along the way.

Always plan for the unexpected.  I will have a job before we move, and we will have a home to move into.  However, should something come up that we are unable to move, every penny that is donated, plus the money we ourselves are putting into this fund, will be donated to the Noyes Home for Children in St. Joseph, MO.  I had several friends growing up that lived there and it's a burden in my heart to give back to the home, for the friends of mine that they raised, during hard times in their lives.

So, if you love us and want to support us in our desire for a better future for ourselves and Zoe and Zander, please donate to help us along this journey.

For those of you who don't like us or one of us, please donate to help ensure we leave KC and are out of your lives.  This is your chance to make that happen!

Thank you so very much for your support!

Q&A:

Q: Why is it best for your family to move there?

A: There are a few answers here.  First and foremost, job opportunity.  Since I've been doing lawn care, I'm enjoying it far beyond what I expected.  In Bradenton, they have year round lawn care services.  I could take a job I truly love more than the computer work I do now, and expand upon it.  Second, health is a reason.  With the health problems Zander had when he was born, he seems to have a weak immune system.  The lack of rapid changes in the weather, should help minimize some of those illnesses that could have been avoided.  Third, we already have several friends in Florida.  Many which were good friends of ours, and we are eager to spend time with them again.

Q: What do I get from donating to your cause?

A: 2 things. You get to help us seek a great future or for those who want more, I've added a few rewards based on the amount donated.   These are for anyone in the KC Metro area.  Yes...I have no shame.

Q: What exactly is the money going toward?

A: Good question. Hadn't realized I was so vague.  The money will go toward fuel to get us there, a truck to haul our stuff, a nights stay on our way there in a hotel, deposits for utilities, food on the way there, and a couple of local debts we owe that we promised to resolve before moving.  The goal of $6,000 does not exactly have to be met.  This is only a target for us to hopefully reach to overcome any unexpected costs such as a flat tire on the way, etc.  Also, as mentioned above, any funds we raise that are above and beyond what is needed for the move, will be donated to Noyes Home for Children in St. Joseph.

Also, thank you so very much Mike Nelson with Premier Lawn for helping me persue my dream of running a business and for making it possible to get going with my lawn care business!
