Meet the very handsom husky, Simha! He really needs to be neutered - help us by making a donation - any small amount is very much appreciated.
Simha's owner sadly no longer has time to care for him - Simha needs a new home - if you have doggy experience and no other dogs or cats or other animals and have the time this boy needs PLEASE contact us. We provide support to all foster carers and adopters - we always perform a home check, you will need photo ID and address ID and will be vet checked. Please help us get him neutered by donating and share this page to get his face out there for a new home!
Neutering is the only way we will find homes for all...
There are not enough homes for all the dogs in the UK and the 'surplus' are killed by local authorities, 8,985 in 2013 & rescues are turning dogs away all over the courty because there's just no space.
Anything raised past the target will go towards neutering other dogs.
With the government reducing benefits and minimum wages barely enough to live on - more & more animals are being abandoned.
We pledge to help all those who get in contact and educate members of the public. Protect a Pup is a non profit making group with the sole aim of reducing if not preventing completely the death of homeless dogs. Local authorities in the UK killed an estimated 8,985 homeless dogs from 1 April 2012 to the 31st of March 2013 (Dogs Trust Stray Dog Survey 2013).Protect a Pup aims to reduce this number by offering free neutering and spaying to those who cannot ay for it and education initiatives.
Prevention is the only cure for the dog over-population crisis, please if you can give for Simha - we would be so grateful.

Very important to get all dogs neutered. We should never under any circumstances be breeding dogs, or any animal. It is totally irresponsible to do so and just perpetuates the suffering and abuse of animals. I fully support this programme and thank you for the work you do. Good luck Simha hope you recover well from your op :)
