Campaign Story
Hi my name is Neel and I am 15 years old. My IGCSE board examinations got cancelled in late March and I have been free ever since. I decided I would try to get in some exercise and so ever since the first week of April I have been alternating between running 2 and 3 rounds of my condominium (each is around 900m) . Recently however, I read about Captain Tom Moore, who walked 100 rounds of his garden before his 100th birthday to try and raise money for the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, and I saw a former classmate trying to help out in Singapore. This inspired me to make something of all my free time and I realized that since I have already been running rounds of my condominium, I could do something with that. This is why, in honour of Captain Tom, I will be running 100 laps of my condominium over the course of the next month to try and raise money, all of which will be donated towards Kitchen Konnections, an organization involved in helping the worst affected stakeholders in Singapore: the Migrant workers. Any and all donations are welcome, however small. Thanks in advance!
