Need Electric Drum Set

My church needs drummers, I am a drummer. I however do not own a drumset. I am currently borrowing an acoustic set from my church so that I can practice. They need this extra set however, they use it for events and other things. Also, my neighbors do not approve of the noise that my acoustic set makes. I got pads but even with those, I technically break the sound laws by being able to be heard over 200 ft away due to the snare and some of the cymbals. I really want an a electric kit, but a good one, a $1000 kit doesn't sound or feel like a real kit and is a big turn off to drumming! The nice kits are just too expensive!

This kind of a kit is a high quality kit that can really help not only my church but me personally with improving my drumming.
