Need car for family of 5

My current car is always needing repairs due to an excessive engine oil consumption that has been long reviewed as a problem with Chevy models. My car completely turned off and had to be towed to dealership for repairs. After COSTLY repairs were made the engine light keeps turning and does not idle smoothly and almost sounds like a loud humming. I’m the primary caretaker of my kids and I need a car that will safely get us from point A to point B. Any donation will help this family.
