I am Sandile from Newcastle...i wish to assist with raising funds for the drought-stricken Newcastle and Utrecht, Ncuba farming community.
Over the past 5 years, this area has received only 10 ml of rain. The severe lack of water has seen field dry up and overgazing . This has created a lack of food for livestock and thousands of animals have died from starvation.
Ncuba farmin community a cattle farmer in Utrecht in the Kwazulu Natal, said many farmers were experiencing a sense of hopelessness and depression. I would compare the stress to living in a dryness land, except you can get away from a starving.
Starving livestock are no longer be a source of income, but rather be an expenses on individual for feeding and veterinary. This broken community has no way out and selling their remaining livestock as a source of income.
I am also a Ncuba Farming Community members we have a real chance to make an impact in the lives of this community by way of donating money to this Backabuddy fund which we have created, or by way of food, water, cattle feeding and veterinary
We can make a huge difference in the lives of hundreds of people and thousands of livestock by coming together on this project.
Thank you in advance
