Nastya, 4 years old, heart surgery

Dear friends,

I have never been involved in fundraising before, but this week I met a person, who really needs help. His name is Maxim and he works as a Yandex taxi driver in Moscow, arrived there 3 weeks ago, as his daughter Nastya (4 years old) was sent for intensive care in Moscow, awaiting a heart surgery (diagnosis: congenital malformation by birth, that was not noticed by doctors then and has revealed itself only now). Maxim and his daughter Nastya (he is alone raising father) are from Vladivostok, they sold everything that they had there and came to Moscow, as they managed to get a quota for the surgery. The surgery is next week (hopefully, as the doctors have been postponing this for the last 3 weeks!), but in order to prepare for it, Nastya nees one ampule of medicine injected per day, each of which costs 8,000 rubles (about 125 USD). Maxim works day and night to earn this money, as without this medicine, there is no chance for a successful surgery or survival of the girl. It is extremely difficult to earn this money in Moscow as a taxi driver. There is also no time to find a Donation Foundation for help, because every day 8000 rubles have to be made and every single order of Yandex taxi counts for Maxim. I'm not even taking into consideration now the costs of living an rehabilitation after the surgery, which will last about 2 months.

I was really touched and horrified by this story as i heard it, and I would love to help little Nastya. So i am reaching out to you, in case this story touches your heart too, and if you have an opportunity to donate, i'm sure, even a very modest donation, can help Nastya prepare for the surgery and recover well after it. I created this very simple page for donations and I will be grateful for the contribution and/or repost.

PS I understand, that many people might criticize this and say that this story is not unique, and that rather trusted funds should get help. For me however, after hearing the personal story of this guy, i couldn't think of anything other than how can one help his daughter. So this page is just a little attempt to do so.
