My Wedding

On febuary 16, 2013 I plan on marrying my boyfriend. He and i work but unfortunately we are cannot afford a wedding of our own due to personal issues.

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer this year and underwent a masectomy. She has been prescribed arimidex and is suppose to take this medication for 5 years so that it diminishes the cancer cells from her lymph nodes and decreases the chance of it returning. This has left my mother depressed and unable to work and therefore the money i get from my job pays the bills to keep a roof over our heads. My father is died when i was very young so my mother is all i have.

I am not looking for anything extravagant, pricey or showy. I would just like something nice and affordable until he and i finish school and are able to afford the big wedding that we really want. This is definitely an exciting experience for me but being financially unprepared makes it very stressful. I am nervous because my boyfriend and i are doing things on our own and this is the first wedding for both of us.

Any form of help is appreciated. My Goal is $5000 and i believe a with that i can provide an elegant setting for both of us. The money will help pay for the rental of a place for our wedding as well as a reception. It will also help pay for my dress and shoes.
